I cherished the authentic Ventura sandal. Want I still had 1 of my previous worn-out kinds so I could enumerate all the differences. I do know they lasted substantially extended - the straps have been thicker leather, did not get "floppy" so quickly and did not stretch out, which the "two" has for me. And I do not like the "leather topsole" - I genuinely notice the stitching towards the bottom of my foot. The original had a full leather (suede?) lining atop the cork. This was my third pair (2 originals, one "2"). I will not acquire them again.

I had a pair of cork sandals several many years back, which were really cozy and I wore right up until they basic finally broke apart. I loved the way cork conformed to my feet, and gave a cushion in opposition to a difficult surface. I could not discover another pair (all I saw at stores have been only a skinny cork layer on a harder foundation) till I saw that TEVA had introduced one. I typically put on TEVA's Fairly Rugged, for most informal wear summer and winter (besides for deep snow), which are much more supportive and additional rugged than the cork sandals. But for typical day's casual actions in which help and ruggedness are not as considerably of a issue, the cork sandals are cozy and look nicer and nonetheless are supportive adequate. My outdated pair did not have a leather liner - it was just bare cork, and the cork was strong, not a composite as these seem to be, and I feel I preferred it that way. However, the TEVA cork sandals are nonetheless better than no cork at all! So I put on the Rather Ruggeds for more energetic, the corks for far better seeking, but I nevertheless prefer hiking boots for rugged terrane. My only genuine criticism about TEVA sandals design and style is that I do not like the scratchy velcro sticking out past the strap that I catch on issues like carpet, nylon stockings, clothing, and my very own pores and skin, and that it is unattainable to cleanse out all the lint and cat hair out of the velcro, and it begins looking icky and messy. I have had my Quite Ruggeds for about 5 years now, and they held up pretty nicely. They are now somewhat disreputable and smelly, and the velcro has failed, but are nonetheless supportive and rugged (I use them now for gardening and pool). The corks I have had a calendar year, and they are keeping up very well and get comfier and have adjusted to my ft.

I purchased two pairs and they have lasted two.5 years of continual wear. I put on them out on the evening, to church with sundresses, and on the jetskiis. So cozy, does not will need to be damaged in, dye does not come off. I put on them in the h2o, undertaking water sports and all day and they are the finest shoes ever before!!! Only wish much more retailers in my location carried them and they came in much more colours.

I generally wear custom arch help but not usually with sandals. The arch help did not look higher sufficient on these and the soles didn't appear comfortable enough but I was incorrect. They give me adequate assistance and convenience to wear all day. I purchased these a calendar year or two ago when the only colours had been olive green and light blue. I bought the olive geen which really appears fantastic with a ton of items. Now I'm prepared to acquire an additional colour but all I see is brown or black. I'd purchase the light blue if they nonetheless produced it or some interesting color.

I acquired these sandles to wear casually in the summer and probably at function for 8 hour shifts. Although not expecting severe comfort out of this product, I was suprised I barely produced it to lunch ahead of I had to take away them simply because the soles of my feet have been incredibly sore, and black! (since of the dye) I quickly discovered these were not shoes to wear for more than a few hrs. Also soon after about 2 weeks of put on the front straps started to stretch out, and my toes would go to the extremely finish of the sandle and go more than the end...awkward. My co-worker obtained these aswell, and had similar experiences.
