I reviewed examples of video clip taken with this camera at Flipvideo internet web site just before purchasing it. I had doubts about the videocamera (i.e. video clip and audio top quality) soon after down loading the video clip from the George Bush Library (superior lighting), Red Property Museum (excellent to very poor lighting), and Texas A&M sport (night time lighting) on my older computers. But, right after loading the video on my newer laptop or computer (2010, brand name with five letters). The excellent of the video and sound was just as marketed (HI-DEF) and I was ready to melt away the video to DVD easily. In really low light circumstances I recommend not employing the zoom as video will be a tiny grainy. The audio may be a small comprised outside in substantial wind ailments, but I like this video clip camera.

I did a great little bit of research and chose the Flip-ultra since of one) Flip's outstanding overall performance 2) the Ultra's replaceable battery. I wanted a recorder that was smaller, effortless to use, and took moderately superior movies that could be edited on a Mac and very easily uploaded to youtube. The Flip Ultra fulfilled my anticipations.I mostly use the recorder for video clips of my increasing family members. It is easy and unobtrusive to seize and get started recording life's precious moments. Compared to larger and additional costly camcorders utilised in equivalent problems, the Flip Ultra was noticeably much less shaky and had a clearer picture.A number of dislikes: the camera will connect to my iPad but the two don't play very well together; the microphone does not get the job done all that well so I will probably purchase an aftermarket mic to add on; the camera feels type of flimsy; and the USB layout, even though imaginative, could be a good deal better.

I am a casual person but I appear for excellent zooming and this is limited but for distances that are close by this performs wonderful. I enjoy the clarity of the motion pictures this requires. If you want to consider movies of people today close by then this is a good camcorder. I just purchased this a week in the past and I am impressed with the sound on it and as I mentioned the clarity of the pics it requires. There are added features with the constructed in software program that makes this uncomplicated to down load to your pc and to make attribute movies out of. The film portion is something that I take into account an additional bonus due to the fact this is something I was not hunting for. My only detrimental comment on this is that it is not for distances like if you had been at a concert or convention and desired to film some thing on the platform. You can nevertheless do that but the zoom will not convey the faces up too shut. But it is excellent for somebody who is a casual user and desires to just take videos of buddies and family. I almost forgot to add that you can make videos by filming appropriate thru your car and while in motion. It is also mild excess weight and can fit proper into my purse so it is effortless to carry close to and also to download to my personal computer. I just enjoy this camcorder.

The enhanced stereo audio is fantastic and crystal apparent. The stabilization features have also made this a beneficial HD camcorder. The software package helps make it straightforward to use. My daughter's friends now all want one particular and are VERY disappointed to right here that they are disappearing from the industry.

Bought to use on 2nd honeymoon. We had bought 1 in Sept as wedding ceremony present, utilized it to document the wedding & reception. Definitely liked it so bought one to get to Punta Cana. Image excellent is fantastic, sound top quality very good, but alot of wind noise - may possibly have just been simply because of the weather in COMPUTER. Zoom is not really very good, but the digital camera is best for that quick video clip. Modest dimension created it easy to carry around on trip. Sadly battery is not up to the two hr recording time - lasted only about forty five minutes, but we took some AAA with us (which we did have to use) simply because of prior reviews. Still operating on the FLIP video clip application...tried to produce a film but obtained concept that it was too massive a file...can import into and use windows live film maker.
